HBO Max has released the teaser trailer for their post-apocalyptic, multiple storyline drama Station Eleven, set to be released on its streaming platform this December. According to the notes from HBO Max, Station Eleven is a “limited drama series that tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.” Given the post-pandemic world we’re currently living in, there’s plenty of topics that will strike close to home.

Some of the actors featured in the Station Eleven trailer include Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049), Himesh Patel (Tenet), Lori Petty (Point Break), and Danielle Deadwyler (Paradis Lost). Station Eleven is written by Patrick Somerville, a writer responsible for shows including Maniac, The Leftovers, and The Bridge (US version), adapted from the novel of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel.  The 10 episodes are directed by Hiro Murai (Atlanta). Station Eleven will premiere on HBO Max on December 16.
