According to the notes from HBO Max, Station Eleven is a “limited drama series that tells the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.” Given the post-pandemic world we’re currently living in, there’s plenty of topics that will strike close to home.
