At the beginning of the 2017-2018 NBA season, the league inked a deal with Nike that saw numerous different interpretations of official NBA team jerseys. The City Edition uniforms quickly became fan favorites, with the uniforms acting as a second alternate strip with forward-thinking designs that often pay homage to the team and the city it’s based. For the 2021-2022 uniforms Nike has gone back in time, delivering a collection of heritage-esque jerseys celebrating the NBA’s 75th anniversary.

Some of the standouts include the Atlanta Hawks yellow jersey featuring a giant bird across the chest that harks back to the days of Josh Smith and Joe Johnson era, the San Antonio “Fiesta” version in white, the Charlotte Hornets uniform that channels the 1988-1989 season with the honeycomb pattern, and the Indiana Pacers collection inspired by Reggie Miller’s time. Other jerseys include the Washington Wizards going all the way back with the classic blue and red jersey, the Chicago Bulls featuring the classic script on red, and the Los Angeles Lakers recreating its blue threads from the 1996-1997 season.
