Audemars Piguet and Marvel are partnering for a series of superhero-inspired watches. The first Marvel character to be immortalized in watch form is the one and only Black Panther. Although the Wakanda legend has been a comic book staple for decades, it’s the late Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of the character that helped Black Panther reach a greater audience. Considering the impact the film had on popular culture, it makes sense Black Panther would be the first cab off the ranks.
