NBA 2K22 hits shelves in early September and this week publisher 2K Games has revealed the top 10 player ratings. Unsurprisingly, the list is dominated by the best of the best. Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Stephen Curry take center stage, with each NBA star coming with a player rating of 96. These four are closely followed by Kawhi Leonard, Nikola Jokić, Joel Embiid, who all have a rating of 95. Rounding out the top 10 are Luka Doncic, James Harden, and Damian Lillard with a player rating of 94 each.

As well as listing the top players in the latest installment of the long-running franchise, the top five dunkers and three-point shooters have also been announced. Zion Williamson takes out the top spot for dunkers with a rating of 97. Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon follow with 95, and Derrick Jones Jr. and Ja Morant with 94. When it comes to those who like to shoot from downtown, Steph Curry leads all comers with an impressive rating of 99. His Golden State teammate Klay Thompson takes out the second spot with a rating of 95 while Joe Harris, Seth Curry, and Duncan Robinson fill the final three spots with a rating of 90.

No doubt when the full list of player ratings is released on Wednesday there will be some controversial numbers, but like every year, it will get fans and players talking and create a buzz for the game.
